All divers employed by Bailey's Marine Service LTD. are certified by the Diver Certification Board of Canada (DCBC). Our team is highly trained across diverse disciplines including visual inspection, non-destructive testing (NDT), underwater video and photography, structural welding and cutting, marine salvage, heavy rigging, and hazmat diving.

We operate two state-of-the-art Remote Operated Vehicles (ROVs)—the Deep Trekker DTX2 and DTG2—equipped with high-definition color cameras, high-output LED lighting, depth/heading sensors, water temperature displays, and robotic grabbers.

Our fleet features 4 dedicated work vessels powered by late-model, dependable 4-stroke Yamaha outboard engines:

• 30' Fisher all-aluminum hull powered by twin 150 HP outboards
• 20' Sea Serpent fiberglass hull powered by a 70 HP outboard
• 15' Inflatable vessel powered by a 9.9 HP outboard
• 14' Aluminum jon boat powered by a 6 HP outboard

We provide certified underwater welding and cutting services to industrial, commercial, and municipal clients requiring temporary or permanent structural repairs. Our certified divers execute precision wet welding and cutting on submerged steel structures, sheet piling, bridge piers, wharves, and vessel hulls.

Bailey’s Marine Service offers comprehensive marine surveying tailored to environmental, industrial, and infrastructure developments:

• Benthic Habitat Surveys: Environmental baseline and impact assessments for coastal projects.
• Pre & Post-Dredging Surveys: Detailed seabed profiling for harbor and navigational channel clearance.

We deploy fully certified DCBC dive teams or utilize high-definition ROV units depending on water depth, currents, and safety requirements.

We utilize industry-leading non-destructive testing (NDT) technology for metal thickness verification, featuring the Cygnus DIVE underwater thickness gauge.

• Metal thickness and structural wear assessments on jetties, dock gates, piers, sheet piling systems, and ship hulls.
• Preventative routine maintenance checks that save clients significant time and money by detecting corrosion prior to structural failure.

We offer two versatile Remote Operated Vehicles (ROVs) to conduct rapid, high-definition underwater inspections without risking human life:

Deep Trekker DTX2: Features 4 vectored thrusters rated to operating depths of 1,000 ft (300 m). Designed for deep open-water surveys, structural inspections, object recovery in high-current conditions, and acoustic imaging via integrated Tritech Micron Sonar.

Deep Trekker DTG2: Rated to 400 ft with 2 thrusters. Compact size makes it ideal for shallow water, confined spaces, potable water storage tanks, and internal pipeline inspections.

Both ROV systems are 100% portable and can be set up and operational within minutes of arriving at your site.

Bailey's Marine Service maintains over 50 tons of lifting capacity using a wide range of enclosed and open-bottom salvage lift bags (500 lbs to 12,000 lbs capability). Our gear includes 6-ton open-bottom bags for heavy deepwater lifts and 2-ton salvage pontoons for shallow-water ops.

We perform internal pipeline inspections for pipes starting as small as 4" in diameter using specialized pull-through camera systems. For larger intake lines (16"+ diameter), we fly our DTG2 ROV internally to record video and evaluate pipe walls, blockages, or structural integrity across extended distances.
